Purchasing

 

There are currently 2 employees in the purchasing department: 1 purchaser and 1 Purchasing Manager. The number of employees is expected to increase going forward.

Some of the tasks covered by the department are:

  • Follow-up on purchase requisitions
  • Request for tenders (RFT)
  • Establishing purchase orders
  • Purchase of goods and services
  • Delivery quality assurance
  • Customs declarations and services
  • Documentation control and management
  • Commodity logistics
  • Vendor/Supplier management
  • Receipt of goods
  • Control of diesel tanks (placed outside of the warehouse)
  • Assist with contracts and tenders
  • HSEQ related departmental tasks Waste management
